Beach
Located approximately 26 km south of port Chañaral, Portofino is a coastal sector which by its climate characteristics, water temperatures and quality of its waves is regarded as a haven of the SURF in Chile, which access year-round national surfers and foreigners that in a short stretch run waves of left and right.
There are also small coves Rocky edge suitable for shore fishing and small soft sandy beaches.

Crystal clear waters can observe the seabed and perform sport diving.
Portofino has no infrastructure or tourist equipment only summer, finding largely with natural characteristics of the coastal edge of Atacama houses.
Its beach, and climatic conditions ensure a potential use in over the summer eminently seasons.
